After the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, many politicians on both sides honored her legacy. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell paid his respects in an official statement released by his office on Twitter.

In the other half of his statement, he comments on the vacancy of a justice in the Supreme Court.

Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year…

We pledged to work with President Trump and support his agenda. Particularly his outstanding appointments to the federal judiciary…

President Trump’s nominee WILL receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate

McConnell’s commitment to upholding his promise to POTUS is big as the GOP was against the President when he picked Kavanaugh to fill the empty seat back in 2018, as previously reported by 100%FedUp.

TUCKER CARLSON ON HOW THE PRO-TRUMP AMERICANS FEEL ABOUT KAVANAUGH:

“Kavanaugh stood up for those people yesterday. He raised a middle finger to their tormentors, and they love him for it. Kavanaugh is far more popular with Republican voters today than any single Republican senator, and he’s incalculably more popular than the Senate as a whole.” … “Kavanaugh now has a constituency, a powerful one; and they will long remember whether Republicans defend him in his moment of need”

TUCKER CARLSON SEE THIS WHOLE CIRCUS FOR WHAT IT IS…

“In Washington, when they congratulate you on leaving the partisan circus, chances are you are now the ringmaster of the partisan circus. And of course, Jeff Flake is exactly that.”

Amen to that!

Carlson says Flake “crumbled”…

HERE’S HOW IT WENT DOWN…

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted along party lines with an 11-10 vote to have a vote on the Senate floor on Judge Kavanaugh. However…FLAKE STIRRED THE POT IN A BIG WAY:

“I think it would be proper to delay the floor vote for up to but not more than one week, in order to let the FBI do an investigation, limited in time and scope to the current allegations that are there.”

FLAKE caved to Democrats to try and advance a bill to the House floor to have the FBI investigate Judge Kavanaugh: “It would be short and limited in scope.”  Senator Flake was corned by Democrats who tried to get him to change his vote. INSTEAD, HE DID VOTE YES WITH A CAVEAT TO HAVE THE FBI INVESTIGATE.

The Democrats on the committee are trying to get a one week FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh. Senators Leahy and Chris Coons are in favor.

Senator Feinstein is “confused” so Flake explains that in order to bring the country together that we need a one week FBI investigation.

REALITY CHECK FROM SENATOR GRAHAM:

Senator Graham told the committee and Flake that it doesn’t work that way. An investigation is up to the Senate leaders. McConnell and Schumer would have to decide this.

They still don’t know what hit them…Democrats are confused when Grassley closes out the vote.

Would Flake bring with him some of the fence sitters like Collins and others who are undecided?

This is still a circus…
