Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders isn’t the only white, multi-millionaire, older man to run for president in 2020. The cranky old guy running as a Democrat, who’s spent his entire life as a “public servant,” fighting for the little guy, has some good company. Joe Biden, the Democrat Party frontrunner who’s also spent his entire life as a “public servant,” is also a part of the elite 1%’ers Democrats love to bash.

The Daily Caller reports – Former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife earned more than $15 million in the years since Joe Biden left government, according to tax records released by his campaign on Tuesday.

The majority of their income came from speaking engagements and payments for two books written by Biden, a top contender for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.

The former senator from Delaware served as Barack Obama´s vice president for eight years, leaving office in early 2017 after the election of President Donald Trump.

According to federal and state tax returns, the Bidens earned about $11 million in 2017 and another $4.58 million in 2018.

During a four-decade political career, Biden brought home little more than his government salary.

But since then, he and his wife Jill made $2.7 million for book deals over the past year and a half.

Biden’s first book, an account of his son Beau’s death from cancer, briefly topped bestseller lists in 2017.

Biden also earned $540,000 as a professor and namesake of the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement.

Should public servants who demand everyone give up more of their hard-earned money by making millions as a result of a life in politics? Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
