Is Netflix planning to increase production in Egypt because of the Georgia anti-abortion law? There’s one problem…abortion is illegal in Egypt! The Netflix CEO stated that Netflix would “rethink” being in Georgia if the anti-abortion bill becomes law.
The Daily Caller reports that Netflix is working on its third Arabic original, titled “Paranormal,” Variety reports. The show will be based on a series of Arabic horror books written by Egyptian author, Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, according to Variety. The show will be produced in Egypt, where abortion is punishable by imprisonment in almost all circumstances, according to the Pew Research Center.
The Disney CEO is also in on the act:
According to Reuters – Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Bob Iger told Reuters on Wednesday it would be “very difficult” for the media company to keep filming in Georgia if a new abortion law takes effect because many people will not want to work in the U.S. state.
Disney has filmed blockbuster movies in Georgia such as “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Endgame,” and it would be a blow to the state’s efforts to create production jobs if the entertainment giant stopped filming there.

Georgia’s Republican governor signed into law on May 7 a ban on abortion after a doctor can detect a fetal heartbeat – about six weeks into a pregnancy before many women know they are pregnant. The law is due to take effect on Jan. 1 if it survives court challenges.
Asked if Disney would keep filming in Georgia, Iger said it would be “very difficult to do so” if the abortion law is implemented.

Disney Corp. doesn’t exactly have a pro-American agenda either. In 2016, Disney infuriated a lot of Americans when it was discovered that the company was forcing its workers to train their own replacements. These workers who were taking their jobs were from foreign countries who were being hired through the H-1b visa program.
“This situation at Disney is not an anomaly,” Leo Perrero says in prepared testimony obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation. “This same abuse of the H1B program is happening nationwide.”
Watch his heartbreaking story here:
Perrero was laid off just ahead of the holidays in 2014 and then forced to train his foreign replacement on an H-1b visa before he and hundreds of other IT workers at Disney in Florida left their job. He had been at Disney for more than 10 years and received outstanding performance reviews, and thought he was being called in for a pat on the back when his boss laid him off.
One of President Trump’s first priorities was to stop foreign workers from taking jobs from Americans, a decision that didn’t bode well with large businesses and corporations who were taking advantage of cheap foreign labor.
The Disney Corporation is a large contributor to the Democrat Party, and records show Disney’s CEO Bob Iger is specifically fond of Hillary Clinton.
In 2016, Newsmax reported- Iger is a visible and active supporter of progressive politicians, thus sending a powerful message throughout the company about his political beliefs and — potentially — his expectations of news coverage. With the CEO investing significant amounts of his personal money in liberal politicians, it would likely be career-limiting to challenge his political investments. On the contrary, attacking conservatives could be the ticket to career advancement.
A long-time Hillary supporter, Iger appears in an email chain — subject: “Email from Steve Bing” — with Clinton campaign head John Podesta and Steve Bing and Andy Sowers from Shangri-LA business group.
The emails refer to Iger expressing an interest in taking an active role in the campaign stating, “He wants to be helpful.” In a follow-up email months later, Bing mentioned that Iger had connected with Podesta and that those discussions had gone well, “[Iger’s] had a couple of good talks with you.”
At this point, we don’t know the outcome of Iger’s conversations with Podesta or what it meant to Clinton’s campaign, but we do know the Disney leader co-hosted a Beverly Hills fundraiser at billionaire Haim Saban’s home last August that carried a $100,000 cover charge for hosting couples.
According to a Washington Free Beacon story last year, “Disney CEO Bob Iger has given more than $400,000 to Democratic candidates (including Hillary Clinton) and campaign committees since 1999.”
On March 10, 2018, , Disney CEO Bob Iger was put on the hot seat about his Trump hating hosts of a variety of Disney owned shows. The tough questions were asked by Justin Danhof, the director of the Free Enterprise Project at the National Center for Public Policy Research.
Danhof asked about the anti-Christian bias and the anti-Trump bias that’s going on at ESPN with Jemele Hill and with “The View’s” Joy Behar. Iger quickly covered for his anti-Trump hosts, as he attempted to prove they had all atoned for their poor judgment.
Here’s the audio from the meeting:
Transcription of Iger’s response: “I don’t know where I start. First of all, Joy Behar apologized to Vice President Pence directly. She made a call to him and apologized, which I thought was absolutely appropriate. I happen to take exception with what she said. I don’t think it was right and I was glad to hear she apologized. On the Jemele Hill issue, the only thing I have to add to that because I have said some things publicly is that Jemele Hill was spoken with and disciplined for the things that she said or the things that she Tweeted. I’m going to leave it at that. And in terms of your depiction of ESPN and a variety of other things you said: I know you’ve been to other meetings in the past. You and I have agreed to disagree on these issues, not that some of the things that you’ve raised don’t have some validity, but I don’t agree with everything that you said. Thank you. I respect your right to say them.”
We have a question for Disney CEO Bob Iger, “If you advocate for allowing abortion mills to kill off a large chunk of the next generation, who will pay your outrageous entrance fees?”
