According to a new survey, Donald Trump leads Joe Biden among Hispanic and young voters.

In the 2020 presidential election, Biden defeated Trump in both demographics.

The survey, conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University, also found that Biden has lost significant support among Black voters.

Charlie Kirk shared a breakdown from the survey:

First Poll of 2024 shows Trump winning the Hispanic and Youth vote. In the new USA Today/Suffolk poll:

Trump leads among Hispanics by five points, 39%-34%

Trump is up among younger voters 37%-34%

17% support an unnamed third-party candidate

Overall, Trump leads Biden 39% to 37% and 37% to 34% when RFK Jr. is named as a third candidate.

Take any poll with a grain of salt, but the trend is our friend.

From Independent:

A USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll showed that the president has failed to consolidate parts of the coalition that propelled him to the White House in 2020. Mr Trump, who has a commanding lead in every state that holds an early nominating contest for the Republican nomination for president, beats Mr Biden in a head-to-head with 39 per cent compared to Mr Biden’s 37 per cent.

Only 63 per cent of Black voters support Mr Biden. In 2020, Black voters propelled him to victory in the South Carolina primary, which led to him winning the Democratic nomination. In his victory speech in November, he thanked Black voters, saying “You’ve always had my back, and I’ll have yours.”

But one in five Black respondents said that they would back a third-party candidate in 2024. Conversely, 12 per cent of Black voters support Mr Trump, the same amount of support he received in 2020.

Mr Trump also beats Mr Biden with Hispanic voters, as 39 per cent support Mr Trump versus 34 per cent who support the incumbent president. In 2020, Mr Biden won 65 per cent of the Hispanic voters, according to the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at Cornell University.

Per Daily Mail:

When third-party candidates were specified by name, Trump’s lead increased to 37% to Biden’s 34%, with independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the top of the third-party candidates at 10%.

The overall trend is worrisome for Biden, particularly with younger voters, who overwhelmingly supported him four years ago and are largely at odds with Republicans on issues such as abortion access and climate change.

And some of the president’s support looks to have gone to third-party contenders. The poll found that 20% of Hispanic and black voters, along with 21% of young voters, say they’ll back someone other than the two main contenders.

Multiple polls have shown voters want an alternative candidate for the 2024 presidential contest, citing concerns about Biden’s age. At 81, he is the oldest American president in history. If he wins a second term, he would be 86 when it’s completed.

However, in the poll, 74% of likely Democratic primary voters support Biden with only 9% backing author Marianne Williamson and 2% supporting Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips.

‘Although Trump hasn’t grown support among Black voters, he has closed the deficit because third-party voters come off of Biden’s support among Blacks,’ David Paleologos, director of Suffolk’s Political Research Center, told USA Today.
