Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi threatened Republicans that the next “Democrat President” could make gun control a national emergency.  Pelosi, who just finished caving to Donald Trump after saying she wouldn’t give a penny a towards a border wall, joined fellow leftist hardliners to pass a bill giving President Trump $1.7 billion to aid in the construction of a wall on our southern border. Pelosi warned,  “The precedent that the president is setting here is something that should be met with great unease and dismay by the Republicans.”

Watch Pelosi do her best to make a public declaration about the Democrat Party’s push for gun control.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said President Trump’s plan to use a national emergency declaration to unilaterally provide federal funding for a border wall would set a precedent Republicans may come to regret.

Democrats, she said, could use it later to enact their own priorities, such as increasing gun control.

“Why don’t you declare that a national emergency? I wish you would,” Pelosi during a press conference Thursday, noting it was the one-year anniversary of the high school shooting in Parkland, Fla., that killed 17 students and staff. “But a Democratic president can do that.” – MSN

Sorry, Nancy, but Gun Control is not going to be a very popular campaign promise in 2020. There’s one way to make sure there isn’t a “next Democrat President” and that’s promising gun-control. It would be a shame if you “shot yourself in the foot” with your latest threat. You might want to think before you talk next time.

What do you think? Do you agree with President Trump signing the bill to avert another government shutdown? Or do you think he should have played hardball and forced the Dems to secure our borders?
