Former President Barack Obama decided to lecture minority youth at a Brother’s Keeper Alliance event in Oakland, California.
It came off like he was talking down to the crowd that had gathered to hear the ex-president:
“If you are really confident about your financial situation, you’re probably not going to be wearing an 8-pound chain around your neck. If you’re very confident about your sexuality, you don’t have to have eight women around you twerking.”
This is insulting to the young men who were there. It’s also a moment of hypocrisy.

WAIT! Didn’t Obama pal around with the people he’s now saying the youth should avoid becoming? Like JayZ? You said Beyonce is a role model for your girls, remember?
JayZ and Beyonce visited the White House numerous times.
It’s a bit hypocritical to associate with the crowd that he’s now condemning.
Rapper Rick Ross was invited to the White House:
Same guy who bragged about having Lil' Wayne on his iPod.
Every move Obama makes is obvious political positioning. pic.twitter.com/gBdspk4Gop
