A former elementary school teacher in Oregon and self-proclaimed mentor to a child drag queen has been sentenced to 11 months in jail after being found guilty of 11 felony child sexual abuse crimes.

Last month, Kelsey Meta Boren, 31, pled guilty to 11 counts of encouraging child sexual abuse in the first degree after law enforcement found out she had been uploading child porn to the internet.

She has been sentenced to 11 months in jail, followed by five years probation, and will be legally barred from having contact with people under 18. Boren must also register as a sex offender.

Boren had previously worked as an elementary school teacher at the Fern Ridge School District but, after the child abuse allegations surfaced, she was terminated from her position and barred from stepping on school grounds and from having contact with the students.

Prior to her arrest, Boren had posted pictures on Instagram with an 11-year-old drag queen who she claimed to have mentored as a “drag mom.” The child’s family, however, denies this relationship and insists that the two were not very close, and had only met each other “maybe four or five times.”

“Meta-Boren was not a family friend, nor was she ever a mentor for V in the drag world,” the family insisted. “They, also, have not had any contact since before Covid, and all ties have been severed as of the time of Meta-Boren’s arrest in August.”

In August, Boren was arrested and, following a search of her home, police uncovered evidence that she had been uploading and exchanging child pornography on the internet.

“During the execution of the warrant, deputies discovered additional evidence indicating that Boren has utilized the internet on numerous occasions to distribute and exchange pornographic images of children,” reported the Lane County Sheriff’s Office. “Additional evidence was discovered indicating that Boren has also engaged in creating child pornography and uploaded it to the internet.”

The Sheriff’s Office also reported that, so far, “no children known to Boren through her employment have been identified as victims.”

The arrest and disgusting discovery led to protests outside of the bar where Boren was set to perform with the 11-year-old drag queen named Vanellope MacPherson DuPont. The performance was scheduled for October and was to be held at Old Nick’s Pub, a bar named after Satan.

Although the protestors had very good reasons for wanting to put a stop to this event, the bar condemned the protests as “bigotry” and “fundamental misogyny.” Deranged counter-protestors outside the bar yelled “Go home Nazis,” and waved a banner that said, “Protect trans youth,” seeming to defend Boren’s actions.

The protestors were there to protect the youth against a criminal, while those who were fighting for the event to continue were supporting minors being exposed to a pedophile and sexual predator.
