Farah El Kadhi, a Tunisian-born beauty influencer, passed away at 36 after allegedly suffering a heart attack on a yacht while on holiday in Malta.

According to Daily Mail, she was found unconscious on June 17th and rushed to Mater Dei Hospital in the harbour town of Msida.

“Hours before, Farah, a trained architect, had been posting photos of her on board the boat docked in a marina. Local media reports say she had no signs of injuries and had arrived in the country for a one-week holiday,” Chief Nerd wrote, citing Daily Mail.

“An autopsy will be carried out and a magisterial inquiry has been opened to confirm the exact cause of death,” the post added.

Per Daily Mail:

Farah, who worked as an architect for company Key Concept, was one of Tunisia’s most popular influencers.

She used her platform to promote her fashion brand Bazarbyfaf and other paid promotions to her 1.1 million Instagram followers.

Tributes poured in to her Instagram page. Fellow influencer Laurie Marquet wrote: ‘I can’t believe it. I’m in shock, we’ll miss you babe.

‘I will never forget you. RIP my darling.’

From the New York Post:

Fellow influencer and close friend Soulayma Hneynia confirmed Kadhi’s death, stating in an Instagram story that her friend died “peacefully in her sleep.”

Hneynia described the Tunisian influencer as a “truly wonderful person, known for her kindness, generosity, and warmth.”

“Her positive spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her,” the mourning friend said.

The social media star appeared to have no visible injuries when she was admitted to the hospital, with a magisterial inquiry launched to uncover the exact cause of death, according to the local outlet.

Kadhi was on vacation in Malta, where she also promoted companies and brands on her Instagram.

Her last posts on social media featured her in the town of St. Julians, along Malta’s northeast shore, and aboard a boat docked at the Vittoriosa marina.

Both locations are relatively close to the Mater Dei Hospital, where she was admitted.
