At the request of President Trump, the entire U.S.-Mexico border wall will be painted black.

The reason is very simple.

It’s so that the wall will get too hot for illegal immigrants to even touch, let alone climb!

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem made the announcement today during a press conference in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

As you may have guess, Democrats are fuming…

This is not something new.

President Trump wanted to paint the border wall black during his first term and even started on a section.

However, the process was ultimately abandoned in order to make the construction go faster.

Now that border crossings are at a historic low, President Trump can take the time to add more features to the border wall.

From News Nation:

The painting project marks a return to Trump’s original border wall prototype design. During his first presidency, officials began painting sections black in Calexico, California, before abandoning the practice to speed construction.

Sources say the administration is reviving the black paint plan as border crossings have slowed significantly…

Noem said the U.S. now has “the most secure border that we’ve ever had in the history of this nation,” citing zero illegal border crossings recorded for May, June and July.

In addition to a shiny, new black coat of paint, the border wall will also be getting several other upgrades.

All this is made possible by the boosting in funding from the Big Beautiful Bill.

The Hill reported:

Trump signed the “big, beautiful bill” into law last month, which provided $165 billion to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the majority of the funds going toward securing the southern border and deporting migrants who are in the country illegally. Out of the total sum, $46.5 billion was included for the construction of the new border wall, parts of which were starting to be built during the president’s first White House term.

The DHS chief said the wall would be getting a makeover by adding more “technology, cameras, sensors.”

I can’t wait to see the Border Wall once it’s all finished and painted in its full glory!
