It’s nice to see President Trump getting the Secret Service protection he deserves.
That definitely wasn’t the case during his 2024 presidential election campaign.
During President Trump’s recent visit to his golf course in Scotland, an armor-plated golf cart was spotted following the 47th President as he hit the greens.
There was also a noticeable number of snipers protecting Trump as he was out in the open air.
The Daily Mail reported more on the Secret Service’s protocols on the golf course:
Donald Trump’s new armour-plated buggy has been on display at Royal Turnberry as the president enjoys a round of golf during his trip to Scotland.
It is the latest addition to his security detail, just ten months after he survived the world-famous assassination attempt while at a rally in Pennsylvania.
The Secret Service appeared to be taking every precaution on the outing as there were also a stream of army trucks, road checkpoints, and snipers positioned in a ring of steel to protect the president’s life.
But the most noteworthy security feature on the rural Turnberry course was an additional security measure in the form of a black-clad, reinforced golf cart.
Although the president opted to drive a standard-looking white buggy around the course, a distinctly bulkier off-road vehicle trailed him closely throughout.
Security experts believe the cart bore all the ‘tell-tale signs’ of being a heavily armoured protection vehicle.
It bore similarities to ‘The Beast’ – the official US presidential car that accompanies the president on most journeys. The machine has been famous for decades and is believed to bulletproof and heavily armoured, featuring Bond-style gadgets, including smoke screens and electrified door handles.

The New York Post had more details to report on “Golf Force One”:
President Trump’s security team has debuted what appears to be a heavily armored golf cart 10 months after a would-be assassin aimed an SKS-style rifle toward him at his West Palm Beach tee resort.
ADVERTISEMENTAs the president played at the Trump Turnberry course in South Ayrshire, Scotland, this weekend, an imposing, apparently heavily fortified black vehicle followed close behind — with security experts saying it bears all the hallmarks of an armor-reinforced golf cart in the mold of Trump’s official limo, a k a “The Beast.”
Trump drove a standard white golf cart as he played, but the bulky silhouette of the latest addition to his security fleet — which appears to be a modified Polaris Ranger XP — stood out like a sore thumb on the course.
