It was just another day for a man trying to do his American duty as a hard working citizen and make his voice count by voting in Kansas City. That was until he walked in the door and was confronted by an election worker who was a Democrat. The proud voter was confronted because he was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and the election worker told him he couldn’t vote if he was wearing the hat.

Sounds like someone was a little bit triggered, right? It gets worse. The election worker tells the MAGA man to take off his hat if he wants to vote. Then, according to reports, things escalated to the point that people were “upset” and “combative” and police had to be called. Police escorted the voter out of the area, even though he technically did not break any laws when it comes to voting.

If that isn’t the most unAmerican thing you’ve heard all day, then what is? One American telling another American they can’t vote because they’re wearing a hat that supports the President of the United States of America, and the voting they’re doing has nothing to do with the Trump hat, so technically there was no violation. Insanity, right?

Don’t worry. It’s not over yet. The man who was kicked out got epic revenge. He called the Missouri Secretary of the State’s Office to get more information and find out if he was allowed to vote while wearing the hat. They told him that he could vote because the hat doesn’t represent anyone in the KC elections that were being voted on, therefore there wasn’t really any violation.

He went right up to that voting station and made his voice heard by voting. If that wasn’t the best revenge possible, then I don’t know what is!

Let’s celebrate with a little dance!

Kansas City news covered this story, shedding light on yet another meltdown by a leftist being possibly triggered at the sight of a MAGA hat.

“But the Missouri Secretary of State’s Office said he could, in fact, wear the hat because it doesn’t pertain to this primary election, according to Tiffany Ellison, a director with the Clay County Election Board.

The man attempted to vote at the Northland Cathedral.

Ellison, a Democrat, said that after a polling worker asked the man to remove his hat, he became “upset” and “combative.” Police eventually escorted the man out, Ellison said.

He then called the Secretary of State’s Office, which said he broke no voting law.

“(The Clay County Election Board) called him to let him know he could go back up there. He thanked us and apologized for his behavior,” Ellison said.

At about 3 p.m., an observer tweeted that the man was “belligerent.”

After being asked to remove his hat, he “refused and started (to) film the voters. When told to stop, he argued with the officials,” the person wrote.

Maura Browning, the communications director for the Secretary of State’s Office, said “the determination of the county election official is laid out clearly in state law.”

Missouri law makes it a misdemeanor to wear political apparel within 25 feet of a polling location when it pertains to a specific candidate or issue on the ballot.

The man in the MAGA hat planned to return to the polling location to cast his vote, Ellison said at about 3:30 p.m.”

The key word there is “pertains to a specific candidate or issue on the ballot” and Donald Trump was not on the ballot. Sure the guy was a little irritated and acted out, but when you’re clearly not violating any law, then it’s understood why there’s some aggravation. His behavior was not acceptable and I don’t condone that, but I am glad he got it resolved and knew his rights.

Most importantly, if you’re going to work the polls, then it helps if you know the laws and don’t get triggered when someone supports the president of our country.

Otherwise, get out of our way so we can vote. There doesn’t need to be a conflict. Everyone vote for whomever they wish and leave each other alone.

That’s how it’s supposed to be, right?
