“Over 100 illegal aliens at a Florida job site—some previously deported, some with rap sheets. All of them thought no one would notice. Florida noticed,” the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) stated.

Per Florida’s Voice:
The raid was first reported by Thomas Kennedy with the Florida Immigrant Coalition on X, and said there was an immigration raid happening near the Florida State University campus.
ADVERTISEMENT“Why is the Florida Highway Patrol focused on harassing construction workers on a workday is beyond me,” Kennedy said.
Online videos show what appeared to be construction workers in handcuffs.
Jeremy Redfern, communications director for Attorney General James Uthmeier confirmed the raid on X.
“Not just ICE. FHP is there, too! Their first mistake was coming across the US border illegally. Their second mistake was coming to Florida,” Redfern said.

From the Tallahassee Democrat:
Construction workers, who were building a student housing complex that overlooks Florida State University on the corner of Gaines and Mosley streets, stood in a line for hours waiting to verify their documentation or be hauled away.
The “massive operation,” as it was dubbed by state officials, ensnared more than 100 workers outside what will one day be the Perla at the Enclave, a $100-million project designed to be the “capstone project for the Gaines Street Corridor” and the “entry to CollegeTown.”
Over an hour passed, and more than 30 people were loaded onto the converted school bus with dozens more queued up, also bound at the wrists, waiting for another bus to cart them off too.
