Joe Biden is not only incompetent—he’s also, according to his top generals, a liar.

Today, Joe Biden’s top generals, his Defense Secretary, and Joint Chiefs of Staff were placed in the hot seat before members of Congress where they were asked to explain the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The shocking mismanagement of the evacuation efforts led to the desertion of hundreds of Americans, thousands of Afghan allies who helped to fight the war on terror in Afghanistan, the deaths of 13 US military members and 9 innocent people, including 7 small children in a drone strike intended for terrorists.

In today’s hearing, Republican lawmakers accused President Biden of lying to the American people after senators heard that the commander-in-chief was told his senior generals believed 2500 U.S. troops should stay in Afghanistan to prevent a Taliban takeover. General McKenzie’s acknowledgment under oath that he initially recommended “President” Biden maintains 2,500 troops in Afghanistan, was especially damning to Joe Biden who has repeatedly denied the claim.

Daily Mail reports – Testimony provided by the country’s defense secretary and two senior generals contradicted Biden’s claims he was never warned by military advisers that bringing home American soldiers risked the collapse of a fragile government in Kabul.

The result was a slew of furious accusations that Biden ignored their advice and then lied to the country.

Republican Senator Josh Hawley said: ‘Here’s what I’ve learned so far: Number one, the President of the United States lied to the American people about the advice that you gave to him, about the military judgment that you provided for him.

‘I think you’ve all testified to that effect now repeatedly.’

Watch Senator Hawley rip into Biden’s Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin:

Senator Hawley also ripped into Secretary of State Austin for “leaving Americans behind.” “Please don’t tell me you didn’t leave Americans behind—You left them behind, Joe Biden left them behind—and frankly, this is a disgrace!”

Biden has been under intense pressure to defend his handling of the withdrawal.

Biden and his officials have insisted the speed of their advance and the collapse of Afghan security forces took them by surprise.

The president even denied that he withdrew troops against the recommendation of his senior military advisers.

But McKenzie, head of US Central Command and who oversaw the final days of the war in Afghanistan, said he repeatedly argued that a small presence of U.S. troops was essential to stability.

‘I stated consistently that my position was, if you go below 2500 you’re going to look at a collapse of the Afghan military,’ he told the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Milley also said his view had been that leaving the country, without meeting specific conditions, would likely lead to the collapse of the Afghan armed forces and government.

Milley told lawmakers: ‘In the fall of 2020, my analysis was that an accelerated withdrawal without meeting specific and necessary conditions risks losing the substantial gains made in Afghanistan, damaging US worldwide credibility, and could precipitate a general collapse of the Afghan government, resulting in a complete Taliban takeover or general civil war.

‘That was a year ago, my assessment remained consistent throughout.’

Some 3500 U.S. troops were in the country when President Biden was inaugurated.

Milley declined to say exactly what he advised the president, but that it was his personal view that 2500 American troops were needed to prevent collapse.
