After a rude and disrespectful stunt by the grandstanding White House reporter activist Jim Acosta, that took place earlier in the day, during President Trump’s press conference, it was announced by the White House, that Acosta had lost his White House press privileges. It wasn’t his outlandish behavior that got him kicked out of the White House press pool, however, it was actually an assault on a young, female intern, who was just trying to do her job.

Acosta tweeted a video of a Secret Service officer taking his press credentials away as he left the White House today:

MSNBC, the other cable news station that’s failing miserably with viewership ratings, tweeted about Acosta having his press pass taken away:

CNN’s Jim Acosta just had his “hard pass” taken by the White House so he is not welcome there. he tweeted out a sideways video of being rejected at the White House entrance:

Perhaps at regular speed, it’s a bit more difficult for viewers to see the side of Jim Acosta’s hand coming down on the upper arm of the intern, in a karate-chop-like a hit to the inside of her arm, just above her elbow, but in the slow motion video below, you can definitely see it.

Immediately after Acosta hits the young intern in the arm, you can see her pull away. She looks at the President, as though she is asking for help. She appears to be shaken up and stunned by Acosta’s aggressive behavior towards her, in an effort to maintain control of the White House microphone.

Conservative actor James Woods posted this slow-motion video of the disgusting interaction calling Acosta an “Activist masquerading as journalist” who assaults an intern.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted out the official response to the removal of Jim Acosta’s White House credentials by the Secret Service, saying that the “White House won’t tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern.”

Here is her statement:

President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern…

Sanders also posted a slow-motion video of the assault, saying “We stand by our decision to revoke this individual’s hard pass.” Sanders continued: We will not tolerate the inappropriate behavior clearly documented in this video.

Before Sanders posted the White House explanation for removing Acosta’s credentials, she tweeted:

This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.

Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters…

And finally, Sanders concluded:

…over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration
