It’s almost as though the freshman Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar (D-MN), a Muslim Somali-immigrant can’t help herself. In 2012, while she was serving as a Minnesota State Congresswoman, she tweeted her disdain for Israel, saying “Israel has hypnotized the world” asking “Allah” to “awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”

Two days ago, Omar responded to a tweet by Intercept writer, Glenn Greenwald, who tweeted a Haaretz article saying that GOP Minority House Leader Kevin McCarthy is taking a stand against the anti-Israel Muslim Congresswomen, Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).

Greenwald tweeted:

GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy threatens punishment for and over their criticisms of Israel. It’s stunning how much time US political leaders spend defending a foreign nation even if it means attacking free speech rights of Americans

Omar retweeted Greenwald’s tweet, along with the comment, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.”

Her comments were seen by many as more anti-semitic rhetoric from the lawmaker. It’s not uncommon for anti-Semites to make reference to Jews and money. On May 1st, 2018, the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas blamed Jews for the Holocaust, claiming, Jews in Europe provoked the Holocaust because of their “social function” as money lenders. Omar’s tweet appears to be falling in lockstep with the controversial Palestinian leader.

After multiple members of Congress called Omar out for her tweet, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was forced to address the anti-Semitic comments made by freshman Democrat Muslim members of Congress in an open letter to House members. After Pelosi’s letter admonishing her anti-Semite colleagues, was made public, Omar offered an apology. Her apology could not have been heartfelt, since, like the 2012 anti-Semitic tweet, Omar has defiantly refused to delete the tweet from two days ago.

Now, another Democrat Muslim American politician, who was born to Palestine refugees has been caught tweeting vile, and hateful messages about Israel and Jews.

According to Big League Politics – Ibraheem Samirah, the Democrat nominee in Virginia’s 86th district House of Delegates election on February 19th, issued a statement Friday evening apologizing for anti-Israel and anti-Semitic social media posts that were published Thursday by Big League Politics. Samirah, a Muslim-American born to Palestinian refugees, said that giving money to Israel is worse than giving money to the Ku Klux Klan and wished for the late Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon to “burn,” in addition to other hateful screeds.

From Samirah’s campaign website:

Samirah is a first-generation Muslim American who is the son of Palestinian refugees. He was separated from his father in middle school when his father was barred from re-entering the U.S.

In this Facebook post, Samirah attacks the deceased leader of Israel: “Ariel Sharon, burn. Burn a million times for every innocent soul you killed. Hell is excited to have you.”

In this 2014 Facebook post, Samira responded to a statement by “Music Legend Brian Eno” who said, Funding Israel Is Like “Sending Money To The KKK.” Samirah said, “I’d say worse, but I’ll go along with Eno on this one.”

Samirah attempted to blame others for uncovering his vile posts on Facebook, using the excuse that the posts were five years old. It’s mind-boggling to imagine that the citizens of Virginia were about to go to the polls on February 19, without any knowledge of the hatred this man in his heart for Jews.

“This slander campaign is using my 5-year old Facebook posts from my impassioned college days, posts that upon reflection and with the blessing of time, I sincerely regret and apologize for. I am so sorry that my ill-chosen words added to the pain of the Jewish community and I seek your understanding and compassion as I prove to you our common humanity,” Samirah stated.

On Samirah’s campaign website, he attempts to encourage voters to overlook both cases of blackface, infanticide and sexual assault charges against the Democrat governor, the Democrat Lt. Governor and Democrat Attorney General and show up at the polls to vote for him. In his message, Samirah asks to help with his postcard campaign, as a way to counter voter suppression in Virginia.

Turnout for any special election is low. But, with all of the headlines in Virginia lately, the concern is that many Democratic voters will be demoralized.

Instead of combating voter suppression, we need to write #PostcardsToVoters to counteract voter depression.

See the shiny object? No…look…over here!

The Democrats are in a lot of trouble. The curtain has been pulled back, and it couldn’t be much worse for them, especially in Virginia.

Accused Rapists, Racists, Anti-Semites, and Liars…Welcome to the Democrat Party of 2019.
