The first video was taken by a police officer’s body cam in Florida:

Fox News – A Florida deputy and his K9 partner took down two suspects after splitting up, which is “unusual,” according to the agency.

On Saturday, Pasco County Deputy Nick Carmack and Shep, his K9 partner, began pursuing a stolen Ford Expedition. The vehicle crashed into a telephone pole on Denton Avenue in Hudson, and the driver, whose name was not released, fled on foot. Shep took off into the woods to catch him, deputies say.

The passenger also exited the vehicle, and Carmack detained and placed handcuffs on him.

Eventually, the footage shows, the unlikely pair came across the driver, who was firmly in Shep’s teeth.

The second video was taken from a helicopter in Irvine, California.

A carjacking suspect and wanted felon was caught after a high-speed pursuit through the streets of Orange County on Monday evening.

The pursuit ended in Irvine. The chase started in Garden Grove.

A parolee wanted with a gun in a pickup truck got out of the vehicle and carjacked another vehicle — an Audi SUV.

A 22-year-old female Irvine was the victim of the carjacking. The victim’s brother drove up and saw the crime occurring. When he tried to intervene, the suspect pushed the gas, endangering the brother. He also nearly hit the female victim with the car. Neither victim was injured during the incident.

“I saw him pull her out of the car,” said brother Ricky Kozloski.

He said he just waved to his sister in the parking lot earlier in the night as he was coming home from work in his white sedan. She was leaving in her black SUV. He noticed the driver of a black truck acting strange.

“He just was like honking the horn behind me,” said Kozloski. “She was struggling to not let the guy into the car.”

The pursuit came to a crashing end at the corner of Kelvin near Jamboree.

The suspect got out and ran. In the end a K9 dog and officers took the suspect down. –CBS Local Los Angeles
