Vice President JD Vance has revealed he was the first person to notify President Trump of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
In an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Vance shared he was the first person to walk into the Oval Office to inform President Trump that Charlie Kirk had passed away after being shot in the neck.
Vance shared he learned of Kirk’s death an hour before it was revealed to the general public and gave details on how President Trump recated to the horrific news.
Fox News reported more on Vance’s comments on Jesse Watters’ show:
Vice President JD Vance was the person who notified President Donald Trump that conservative activist Charlie Kirk had been murdered, Vance said in a one-on-one interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Wednesday in Michigan.

“He went quiet. He shook his head and said ‘man he was a good guy we’re going to miss him,”‘ the vice president continued.
Vance added that he “wouldn’t be Vice President without Charlie Kirk.”
