Yesterday, Brooklyn Center Police officers pulled over and attempted to arrest 20-year-old Duante Wright, who had a warrant out for his arrest. In the video below, you can Wright placing his arms behind his back for the black male officer who was placing handcuffs on him. Suddenly, Wright is seen attempting to make a getaway. He breaks free from the police officer and re-enters his vehicle. It’s not completely clear if he was attempting to drive away, but what is clear is that he was resisting arrest. The officers can be heard shouting, and then in a split second, which is how much time most law enforcement officers have to make life and death decisions, the female officer standing outside of the vehicle allegedly shot her gun at Wright instead of her stun gun.

The female officer can be heard shouting to fellow officers, “Taser, taser, taser!” and then, “Oh, shit! I just shot him!”

Daunte Wright drove several blocks with his girlfriend in the vehicle before he crashed into another vehicle and died.

Brooklyn is located just outside of Minneapolis, MN. The Minneapolis Police Department has already released the body cam footage to reveal the evidence about what happened during the arrest:

Watch:

After a night of violent rioting by BLM over Wright’s death, Brooklyn Center chief Tim Gannon has released a public statement to the media: “As I watch the video & listen to the officer’s commands, it is my belief that the officer had the intention to deploy their taser but instead shot [Daunte] Wright with a single bullet. This appears to me… that this was an accidental discharge.”

Chief Gannon also offered his condolences to the family. “There’s nothing I can say to lessen the pain that Mr. Wright’s family, friends, for that feeling of loss that they must have,” he said. “That pain is shared by the community and also all those involved in the incident,” the chief told the media.

Wright was on the phone with his mother when he was pulled over. His mother, Katie Wright, told KARE: “I heard the police officer come to the window and say, ‘Put the phone down and get out of the car,’ and Daunte said, ‘Why?’ And he said, ‘We’ll explain to you when you get out of the car.'”

“So I heard the phone get either put on the dashboard or dropped, and I heard scuffling, and I heard the police officers say, ‘Daunte don’t run.’ And then the other officer said, ‘Put the phone down and hung it up.”

It appears now that Wright was accidentally shot during his attempt to flee arrest and evade law enforcement.

BLM rioters and looters aren’t waiting for the facts of the case to be released; they’ve taken to the streets and are seeking retribution for his death by stealing auto parts, gaming systems and gaming accessories.

Matt Braynard tweeted a reminder that bad things can happen when you try to run away during an arrest, including being “tasered” by a 9mm round.

In its attempt to paint Wright as a heroic saint, the media are publishing photos like the one below of Wright holding his young son.

Here are a few recent photos of Daunte Wright that our dishonest media isn’t publishing:

Wright appeared to be a gangbanger. In the photo below, he appears to be flashing a gang symbol.

In the photo below taken from his Facebook page, you can see Wright holding up a large amount of cash, typical of drug dealers.
