Sean Hannity interviewed NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio last night and refused to give straight answers to most of Hannity’s questions. It was a waste of an hour watching de Blasio answer a question with a question or just refuse to answer.

One question that de Blasio did answer had to do with taxes. He must think most Americans want to be taxed to death because he forcefully answered this doozy:

de Blasio: I want to tax the hell out of people. The top income tax rate should be 70%

Hannity: That means they get to keep 30%.

de Blasio: Yea

de Blasio isn’t the only one who wants to raise taxes on top income Americans 70%…Alexandria Ocasio Cortez also wants to tax “the hell out of people” Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden have also said they will raise taxes (see our previous reports below).

BIDEN WILL RAISE TAXES:

“There is plenty, plenty of money to go around.” – Joe Biden

Joe Biden is letting voters know that he will repeal President Trump’s tax cuts if elected…that’s good to know. He made the remarks while speaking at “The Poor People’s Campaign Presidential Forum”

Former Vice President Joe Biden said “the first thing I would do” if president is repeal the Trump tax cuts, which would raise taxes on the 82% of middle-class Americans that saw a tax cut in 2018 with an average savings of $1,260, and the 90% of workers that saw an increase in pay.

It would be Obama round three if Biden is elected. Who can forget Joe the Plumber and Obama discussing “spreading the wealth”.

The Trump tax cuts have been fantastic for middle-class America:

According to Fox Business, the middle class has seen strong tax reduction, higher take-home pay, more jobs, and more economic opportunity.
The success of President Trump’s tax cut for the middle class is clear:

In the months following passage of the tax cuts, unemployment fell to a 49-year low and key demographics including women, African-Americans and Hispanics have seen record low unemployment rates.

Job openings have now hit a record high of 7.3 million and over 300,000 jobs were created last month, as most private-sector businesses continued hiring despite the government shutdown. Year-over-year, wages have grown 3.2 percent and the economy is projected to grow at 3.1 percent over 2018.

BERNIE WILL RAISE TAXES:

Yes, Bernie Sanders really just said Americans would be “delighted” to pay more in taxes? He’s not kidding…

The Democratic Socialist wants freebies for everyone and he wants YOU to pay for them.

He wants free college, healthcare and a $15 minimum wage.

Just like any socialist, he just wants to raise taxes thinking it will pay for the billions it would cost for the freebies he wants. He’s wrong!

Bernie Sanders on paying for socialism:

“People in this country would be delighted to pay more in taxes.”

It makes sense that Bernie is most popular with the 18-24 year-olds.

A recent response by Jeffrey Folks to the socialist comparison of  the 20’s Depression to 2019:

“This comparison is commonplace among progressives, who seem to think that the mere mention of “late 1920s” is enough to stampede the public into demanding progressive government interventions.  In this case, it amounts to extortion: share the wealth, or we’ll have another Great Depression.”

Folks is correct about his solution for income inequality and it isn’t raising taxes:

“There is a solution to income inequality, but it is not income redistribution.  The solution is for young people to be told they must work hard to achieve a more equal income.  Pretending government can ensure income equality by “more widely distributing” income is not merely a lie — it is complicity in spoiling the chances of millions of young people just starting out in life.”

The rainbows and unicorns crowd believes all you need to do is throw more money at a problem. That’s not how the real world works.

Here’s to hoping that the young people come to their senses before the 2020 election.
