New York City’s Madison Square Garden cheered Saturday night as Donald Trump entered the arena to watch UFC 295 alongside Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock, and UFC CEO Dana White.

Watch the electric entrance:

“Trump was spotted talking to singer Kid Rock near the Octagon, while comedian and actor Bill Burr was also in the crowd alongside actor/musician Jared Leto and UFC royalty including Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier,” the Daily Mail reports.

Per Daily Mail:

Trump, dressed in his signature dark blue suit and red tie, shook hands with White before taking his cage-side seat.

He was given a huge ovation and the crowd followed up with chants of ‘USA’ before the promo for the UFC’s 30th anniversary event was played.

The Garden went beserk again a few minutes later when the 45th president appeared on the big screen inside the arena.

Trump’s entrance alongside Tucker Carlson is interesting timing, considering he mentioned the political commentator as a possible vice president pick this week.

Social media users speculated about a Trump-Carlson ticket:

The Hill reports:

Former President Trump says he’d consider Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate in 2024.

“I like Tucker a lot; I guess I would,” Trump said during an appearance on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” this week. “I think I’d say I would, because he’s got great common sense.”

“You know, when they say that you guys are conservative, or I’m conservative — it’s not that we’re conservative, we have common sense. We want to have safe borders. We want to have a wall, because walls work,” he said.

Carlson was fired by Fox News in April just days after it agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787 million to settle claims of defamation out of court. The host has since launched a video series on the X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and remains under contract with Fox.
