President Trump blasted the “fake news media” today with a message supporting pro golfer Tiger Woods after his comments about the presidency. He was talking to the media after shooting his last round of the Northern Trust, and they asked him questions about Donald Trump. If you weren’t aware of this yet, then you should know that Trump is the 4th president to play golf with Tiger Woods. Tiger has his own share of controversial issues that have happened in the past, particularly with his ex-wife, and he’s somewhat friendly with President Trump. The media may have thought this would be a hole-in-one swing, knocking one in from a few hundred yards, but Woods remained neutral and didn’t give the press much to work with. In fact, he gave the press the complete opposite.

Tiger Woods opened up just enough to tell people the truth about Donald Trump. However, what Tiger said actually stands for anyone who is president, regardless of their political party and affiliations. Woods said the one thing that everyone needs to hear and it’s the cold hard truth that no one can deny.

ESPN stated: “Tiger Woods did his best to stay clear of controversy Sunday when he was asked after the final round of the Northern Trust about his relationship with President Donald Trump.

Woods has played golf with Trump, including after he was elected in 2016 and again last year at Thanksgiving with golfers Dustin Johnson and Brad Faxon.

“Well, I’ve known Donald for a number of years,” Woods said during a post-round interview at Ridgewood Country Club. “We’ve played golf together. We’ve had dinner together. I’ve known him pre-presidency and obviously during his presidency.”

When pressed about some people being threatened by Trump “and his policy,” as well as Woods’ seemingly friendly relationship with the president, Woods said:

“Well, he’s the president of the United States. You have to respect the office. No matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.”

Asked if he had any more to say about the state and discourse of race relations, Woods said: “No. I just finished 72 holes and am really hungry.”

That’s what people have been saying all along ever since Trump beat Hillary in 2016. Do you remember protests and craziness going on after Obama won two elections? Not nearly anything close to the level of mayhem we’re seeing now. There was no Obama Derangement Syndrome like there is a Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Tiger Woods comment was perfect. We all need to respect the president and the White House. We are free to disagree with policies, we are free to dislike them as a person, but we all need to act like adults and show a little bit of respect for our president. That’s not too much to ask, is it?

We teach children to respect their elders and show respect around the household, right? Well, this country is our household and we need to respect the rules. Quite frankly, after today’s trade deal with Mexico has caused the stock markets to soar, it’s hard to believe people still protest and try to “resist” the presidency in general.

How long are people going to cry about Hillary losing? Are we children or are we adults?

The fake news media went over par trying to bait tiger Woods into a brash comment about the president.

The fake news media went two-over par, causing the double bogey when Trump blasted them on Twitter and mentioned Tiger Woods in the process.

If you’re the fake news media, then this isn’t what you want to wake up to, is it?
