Congressman Matt Gaetz called out Miami Herald Columnist Fabiola Santiago (see video below) for saying that it would “work nicely” if crowded Florida beaches resulted in the deaths of Trump & DeSantis supporters.
How ironic that she’s wearing a cuff with a peace sign on it in the photo below from Twitter:
The hatefulness from the left has continued throughout the coronavirus crisis.
While they claim to want to come together to fight the pandemic, it’s still 24/7 with the constant drumbeat of anti-conservative, anti-Trump sentiment. In reality, they only want peace if it’s on their terms.
The columnist has removed the tweet and apologized (see below), but the sentiment is more of the same of what Trump supporters have had to deal with since the 2016 election.
In fact, my intent was to sound an alarm about prematurely opening up the country and the state. I was trying to open eyes, minds and save lives, not create a controversy about me instead of the issue, which merits discussion. #StayHome #BeSafe #practicesocialdistancing
