Today Hilary Clinton responded to Special Counsel John Durham’s latest filing via Twitter, claiming that Fox News and Donald Trump are “spinning up a fake scandal”. Unsurprisingly, she is not taking kindly to the investigation.

Durham has vowed to investigate the Clinton Foundation to support his allegations that Hillary’s 2016 presidential campaign paid for computer research to link Trump to Russia. On Tuesday, Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy announced his plans to investigate Durham’s claims regarding Clinton and her campaign staff if the GOP wins a House majority in 2022.

“Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones. So it’s a day that ends in Y. The more his misdeeds are exposed, the more they lie.”

Clinton also attached a link to a Vanity Fair article, which she claims will provide a “good debunking of their latest nonsense.”

Last Friday, Durham filed court papers alleging that a Clinton campaign lawyer, Michael Sussman, directed a tech executive to exploit internet traffic from locations including Trump Tower and the White House to “establish ‘an inference’ and ‘narrative’” tying Trump to Russia.”

Meanwhile, Trump has also publicly shared his thoughts about this investigation, labeling this as a scandal that is “greater in scope and magnitude than Watergate”.
