The midterm elections are quickly approaching and people on social media are sending out reminders to show you the character of some of our Democratic Party congressmen. It’s fairly disturbing to know that several Democratic Congressmen would attend a private dinner with someone so controversial such as Louis Farrakhan. To put the icing on the cake, why not invite a president from Iran, who is possibly wrapped up in some terror mix up with the Al Qaeda?

This secret dinner that was revealed actually dates back to 2013 and it was hosted by the president of Iran, Hassan Rouhani.

One might think a dinner party with someone like Louis Farrakhan and Hassan Rouhani would be strongly ill-advised, but apparently, it wasn’t. At least three Democratic congressmen were reportedly in attendance.

it was Keith Ellison of Minnesota, who is currently facing allegations from a former girlfriend who made claims of abuse. It was also Gregory Meeks of New York and Andre Carson of Indiana.

Farrakhan, many should be reminded, is an anti-Semite who runs a black supremacist group called the Nation of Islam.

Iran is listed as one of the top state sponsors of terror. It’s the Islamic Republic and has been leading the way on the list of state sponsors of terror since at least 1984. Here’s a report on Iran from State.Gov.

If you asked me to go to a dinner with them, then I might think it would be bad for a political career to be associated with people who are perhaps way too controversial for politics in America. It sounds like a dinner party for hate and terror, so how can that be good for anyone serving the American government? I guess it makes sense if you’re a Democrat.

What could possibly go wrong, right?

The Daily Caller stated that they found this information on a website called “Final Call” which even had photographs of the dinner. When approached for questioning about the dinner, not one of the three congressmen were willing to reply. “Final Call, a Nation of Islam publication, noted the three Democrats’ attendance at the time and included photos of Ellison and Meeks at the dinner party. But aside from the Final Call article, the three Democrats’ presence at the dinner remained secret until a Wall Street Journal column revealed it on Friday. None of the three congressmen’s offices responded to The Daily Caller’s request for comment for this article.”

The Final Call stated: “President Hassan Rouhani was elected in June and held the gathering at the One UN Hotel in Manhattan Sept. 24, 2013 across the street from the UN headquarters. The meeting came after Iran’s president spoke at the General Assembly and impressed analysts with words that reflected a desire to thaw U.S.-Iran relations.”

It should be noted that both Ellison and Carson are Muslim.

It makes sense for the president of Iran to speak with them, but should they have gone? Do they really have America’s best interest in their heart if they’re meeting with Louis Farrakhan? He’s an 85-year-old activist who has been scorned for his anti-Semitic commentary, at one point calling Jewish people “satanic.” Is that someone who has the best interest for Americans?

“Farrakhan’s organization, the Nation of Islam, is so extreme that even the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center has recognized it as a hate group for its “theology of innate black superiority over whites and the deeply racist, anti-Semitic and anti-gay rhetoric of its leaders.”

Ellison once tried to denounce Farrakhan, but many wonder if that was him talking out loud to please the masses or him being sincere. After accusations of him having potentially abused a former girlfriend, it’s not hard to figure him out. It doesn’t look good to be wrapped up in possible crimes and connected to people who are clearly hateful.

Farrakhan tried to call his bluff. It’s funny when people on the left are fighting with each other.

And then there’s this photograph of Obama from 2005 that people didn’t see much of back then.

That’s something to think about.
