Last week, a 44-year-old man in Idaho was convicted of kidnapping and raping a woman after picking her up as a driver through the Lyft ride-sharing app.
Instead of bringing the female victim to her destination, he drove her out to a remote location where he sexually assaulted her.
The media is referring to this convicted rapist — whose name is Zkaria Mahmmd Al Majzoub — as a “Boise-area Lyft driver.”
Ah, just another good ol’ traditional Idahoan name, right?
Here’s a look at this mugshot:
Media: "Boise-area Lyft Driver found guilty of rape and kidnapping."
The "Boise area Lyft Driver": A man named Zkaria Mahmmd Al Majzoub.

Al Majzoub has been charged with three serious felonies, and he is now facing a sentence of up to life in prison.
The Idaho Statesman reported further:
On Friday, a 12-person jury found Zkaria Mahmmd Al Majzoub, 44, guilty of three felonies: first-degree kidnapping, rape and forcible penetration by the use of a foreign object, according to a news release from the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office.
As Al Majzoub was driving a woman home in August 2024, he deviated from the route and took her to a remote area “where he sexually assaulted her,” prosecutors said.
The woman told a friend that she was on her way home, and when too much time passed, her friend used an app to check her location, and “immediately recognized something was wrong,” the release said.
“Their quick action allowed them to promptly report the situation to law enforcement, enabling officers to locate the defendant without delay,” according to the release.
While the media refuses to touch on this guy’s immigration status, we can assume he wasn’t born in the great state of Idaho.
Don’t worry, I’m sure he’s definitely not living in our country illegally.
But… in the case that he is, Lyft should 100% be held responsible for allowing a dangerous, illegal immigrant on their app.
Take a look at some of these responses from folks online:
So Lyft should be out of business. But we understand accountability isn’t coming. That’s the political way.

Also look at @DoorDash, @Uber, and @Walmart Spark. All intentionally allowed illegals to overrun their platforms for cheap labor.

He’ll probably be the next Democrat candidate for something.

What do you think?
Do these ridesharing companies need to vet their people better?
