President Trump is taking his endorsement of Sen. Darline Graham straight to South Carolina voters — and he is doing it with the kind of campaign-trail appearance he has made far less often this year.
The president is scheduled to headline a Friday rally in Myrtle Beach, just four days before Graham faces Rep. Ralph Norman in the Republican runoff for the late Sen. Lindsey Graham’s seat.
This is no casual fly-in. Trump is putting his political muscle behind his chosen candidate at the exact moment the race is tightening into a two-person test of who South Carolina Republicans trust to carry the America First agenda into November.
Graham confirmed the visit after wrapping up a campaign stop in Spartanburg.
Ending the day strong in Spartanburg!
Thank you to everyone who came tonight.

The Associated Press reported that voters will decide Tuesday whether Graham or Norman becomes the Republican nominee. The winner will face Democrat Annie Andrews in November.
The outlet described the Myrtle Beach appearance as a comparatively rare campaign event for Trump this year. His decision to go in person signals how much he wants his endorsed candidate to finish the job after the crowded special primary produced a runoff.
Myrtle Beach also gives Trump friendly terrain. The region is heavily conservative, filled with new residents, and located in the district represented by Russell Fry, who finished third in the primary and quickly endorsed Graham.
Graham entered the race after her brother’s sudden death and after President Trump publicly urged her to run. She has made his endorsement central to her campaign, arguing that South Carolina needs a senator who will stand with the president when the votes get tough.
Her campaign has drawn that contrast with Norman directly, and the attacks are getting sharper as Tuesday approaches.
🚨 Ralph Norman calls himself a “fiscal conservative.” Yet he backed a deal giving Carolina Panthers billionaire David Tepper up to $115 million in tax breaks, while taxpayers paid $225 million for an interchange to a facility that never happened.

Darline Graham’s campaign says she spent nearly three decades serving South Carolinians before entering the Senate. Her background includes seven years leading the South Carolina Commission for the Blind, where she oversaw programs focused on vocational rehabilitation, independent living, and blindness prevention.
She was appointed to the vacant seat by Gov. Henry McMaster and became South Carolina’s first female U.S. senator. Her pitch is that public service is not new to her — only elected politics is.
What are your thoughts?
The campaign also features President Trump’s complete endorsement and his call for her to honor Lindsey Graham’s legacy by seeking the full term.
Graham has paired that biography with a promise to back the president on border security, election integrity, and the rest of the America First agenda. The compressed special-election calendar has forced her to introduce herself statewide in a matter of weeks while already serving in Washington.
Roll Call Factbase published the transcript of Trump’s August 10 tele-rally for Graham. The president told South Carolina voters that she supports his agenda and would help advance the mission to make America great again.
He also tied his support to the bond between Darline and her late brother, telling voters that Lindsey was deeply proud of her and that she would not let South Carolina down.
Trump described Graham as tough, strong, and prepared to fight for the state. He also cast the race as a choice about who can be trusted to work with his administration instead of creating another obstacle in a Senate where every Republican vote can matter.
Other Republican senators are lining up behind Graham as well, giving her a ready-made group of allies if she wins the runoff.
Honored to earn the support of Senators @barrassoforwyo, @KatieBrittforAL, and @TomCottonAR.
I look forward to partnering with them to deliver real results for the American people. 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/p5LtiYARMN

WBTV reported that Trump’s visit was significant enough to rearrange the state party’s plans. The South Carolina Republican Party postponed a separate Friday Senate stump event in Anderson County so both runoff candidates would have another opportunity to participate later.
The Myrtle Beach rally is set for Friday evening at the convention center, with doors opening hours earlier. That schedule gives Graham one final major campaign-stage moment before early voting ends and the race moves into its closing weekend.
The runoff winner will inherit a short sprint into the general election. South Carolina remains solid Republican territory, but control of Congress is on the line nationally, and President Trump is clearly not interested in leaving this nomination to chance.
Friday’s rally will show whether Trump can turn a personal endorsement into the late surge Graham needs. South Carolina Republicans make the final call Tuesday.
