Pastor Robb Goodman:
Hey, hey, good morning, everybody. My name is Pastor Robb Goodman and I am the pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in Maryland.
It’s a beautiful sunny day, a little on the cool side, like 67 degrees this morning and beautiful sunny day. Praise God, yesterday I was able to go to the Oriole game and we beat the Tampa Bay Rays.
Two games. So we got the last game today.
We hope we sweep them, sweep them, sweep them, sweep them. It was a really good game last night, had a wonderful time.
Nate and I went. The friend that usually takes us with her, she had hurt her back.
And please pray for her. She, she really hurt her back.
She taken a couple of bad falls. And anyway, I’m trusting the Lord to heal her body and to fix her up and make her all brand new.
Amen to that. God is so good.
ADVERTISEMENTSo anyway, I got a wonderful message for you today. So let’s pray and I’ll share the title with you.
Father, we thank you and we praise you, Lord, that your name is glorified in the heavens and the earth. Lord, we are to bear the true glory of God in our earthen bodies that you have given to us.
Because the spirit of God is present in our lives. Thank you, Jesus, that you sent the Holy Spirit to be our comforter, to be our, our one who equips us, who stands by us, who walks alongside with us, who strengthens us, who lifts us up, Lord, when we’re facing discouragement or attacks from the enemy.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you that you will anoint me to speak your word today. Every scripture that you’ve given me this week about this topic, Lord, that I will speak it clearly.
And Lord, you’ll cause all my words to come directly from your throne.
Lord, I receive that anointing right now in the mighty name of Jesus. And I thank you and I praise you that you are the God of heaven and earth and everything that’s under the earth.
You’re the God of the whole universe.
And Lord, all flesh shall praise you and every knee shall bow and every tongue will proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the father.
Yes, indeed. Hallelujah.
Woo.
God is good. Amen.
He is good.
In Jesus name we pray.
ADVERTISEMENTAmen and amen.
All right.
Let me give you the topic, subject topic of what we’re going to share with today.
We’re going to study the topic, the fullness of the glory of the Lord, the fullness of the glory of Lord.
And if you can turn to Psalm 19, we’re going to go through this entire Psalm and I’m going to comment as we go through it.
So the Lord is amazing.
You know, folks, there’s nothing like being in the presence of Jesus Christ, the presence of the father, the presence of the son, the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We can sense his glorious anointing surround us and we’re going to we’re going to see how the glory of God is manifested in our life by scriptural examples.
We’re going to understand how we can walk in that same glory and bear the image of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Amen.
All right.
Let’s go to Psalm 19.
I’m going to get a sip of my Costa Rican coffee and say, woohoo.
Amen.
Thank you, folks.
That’s some good stuff.
That’s high voltage right there.
Give me a nice little kick.
Woo.
Woo.
Love you all very much.
Thanks for watching.
Thank you, Jesus.
All right.
Psalm 19.
We’re going to start with verse one.
The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows his handiwork.
Now, this is some cool Scripture, I think, and it is really, really neat to see here.
Everything that Yahweh created gives glory to the Lord.
The Hebrew word translated as firmament in Psalm 19:1 is the Hebrew word, I think I’m saying this correctly, raqia, R-A-Q-I-A, which means an expanse, extended surface, or open vault of the sky.
So, all of the heavens declare the glory of God.
It’s amazing when you think about that, because when we look up at the night sky and we see a clear sky and we can see the, you know, sometimes we can see the Milky Way now from when the sky is clear.
Sometimes we can see the aurora borealis.
I mean, it’s just absolutely amazing.
I have a friend that lives in New Zealand.
He sees the southern aurora borealis, the southern lights, and they look completely different than our northern lights do.
It’s, it’s, it’s, it’s really, it’s amazing to see the colors.
So, anyway, so.
Praise be to God.
Let me go back to the psalm again.
All right.
Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
So, the stars, the planets, the galaxy gives glory to God.
Because God created the heavens and the earth in his power because he loved us.
He loves us so much that he created the heavens and the earth, and we can give glory to him.
And their words to the end of the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run a race.
It’s rising is from one end of heaven and its circuit to the other end, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
Wow.
Isn’t that amazing?
The law of the Lord is perfect.
Now, this is really cool when you think about that.
The law of the world, the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.
You know, I always have said this, it’s so important when you and I share scripture with others that don’t believe yet, because only the word of God can penetrate into their heart.
The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, it divides the soul from the spirit and the joints and the marrow, and is a discerner of the intents and the thoughts of every man’s heart.
So when you speak the word of God, not just your own words, but declare what the scripture has to say.
Tell them what Jesus said.
It will not hurt, and you can be bold enough to do that.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, and that’s the part of us that we need to change.
That is where the biggest battle rages in our soul.
You know, we’re a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body.
So the soulish nature is where we tend to go wrong.
It’s where the enemy comes in, and he whispers lies through our ears and says, you know, you’re not very righteous.
Well, the scripture says, I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Yeah, but you know what?
You’re not perfect.
Cast those words down in the authority of Jesus’ name.
You don’t have to listen to those words.
Because the word of God says that no weapon that’s formed against you shall prosper.
And every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn it and show it to be in the wrong.
For this is the heritage of those that serve the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me.
Hallelujah.
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart.
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
That’s so true.
You know, the Apostle Paul talks in Ephesians chapter 1, starting with verse 16.
The eyes of your understanding, being enlightened, that you may know what the hope of your calling is.
So it is so very important that we allow the word of God to penetrate into our soulish area, and it will defeat the battle of the enemy’s lies that he speaks into your ears.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever.
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold.
Yea, than much fine gold.
Sweeter also than the honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them your servant is warned, and in keeping of them, there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
Go back.
Go back.
Keep back your servant from presumptuous sins.
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of the great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
Hallelujah.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
The Lord is so wonderful.
Blessed be his holy name.
Wahoo!
God is so good, folks.
He is so good and mighty.
Praise be to God.
All right, let’s go to Isaiah chapter 6.
We’ll start with verse 1.
Isaiah 6, verse 1.
Isaiah 6, chapter 6, and verse 1.
In the year that King Uzziah died, I, Isaiah, saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the entire heavenly temple.
Whew!
And above it stood seraphim, certain types of angelic being.
Each one had six wings.
With two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two of them he flew.
And one cried to another and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.
The whole earth is full of his glory.
Woo!
Thank God.
And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out.
And the house was filled with smoke.
We’re going to understand that smoke is a sign of the glory.
It is a manifestation of the glory of God by other scriptures that we will soon look at.
So I said, woe is me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips.
For my eyes have seen the king, the Lord of hosts.
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal, which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.
And he touched my mouth with it, and he said, Behold, this has touched your lips, and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is purged.
Also, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and whom will go for us?
Now notice how the Lord says, us?
It’s evident that he’s speaking of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, God Holy Spirit.
Then I said, Here I am, send me.
How many of us are quick to say that to the Lord?
Oh, but you know, I can’t talk to people.
Look at Jonah.
Are you like Jonah?
That when the Lord says go, you got scared, and you hopped on a ship, and headed, and fled in the other direction?
No, you’re not supposed to do that.
We can receive boldness from God, and strength from the Holy Spirit to obey the Lord, that the glory of God will come upon us.
You know, I’m amazed.
I got to speak at my son’s Bible study, and my wife and I both shared a little bit, and my son Nate shared a little bit, and you know, hearing those young people, I mean, they were, Ryan’s like 34, 33, I think, and most of his friends are around that age, close to that age.
But one of the guys was sharing a story.
I might have shared this with you last week.
One of the guys was saying that he was in a young people’s meeting like a week or two before, and they all spent the night together in this church, the church that is in Plant City.
The Crossing Church that Ryan attends and is a big part of, that’s in Tampa, right around the corner from his home.
Takes him five minutes to travel there.
And the other church is in Plant City, like maybe halfway to Lakeland, which is about 45 minutes or so.
So, he was sharing this story about this young woman who was abusing herself by cutting herself.
That is completely demonic.
That is totally, totally demonic.
Well, this girl was cutting her body and harming herself, and she had scars all over her body.
Well, they prayed deliverance over this girl, and the power of God came on her.
She got set free, and every scar from her body was miraculously gone, right before their eyes.
I’m telling you, folks, when the glorious presence of Jesus Christ comes on the scene, nothing is impossible.
Jesus said, nothing is impossible to those that believe, but are we willing to step out in the power and the glory and release God’s glory on the scene?
Are we willing to pray for folks that are in wheelchairs or have sickness and disease?
Are we more worried about catching the disease than we are about their soul and praying for them?
Come on, folks.
Listen to what I’m having to say here.
The Lord knows what he is saying.
Then I said, here I am, send me.
And he said, go.
Tell this people, keep on hearing, but do not understand.
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.
Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.
Woo!
God is not only a God that heals our heart, but he heals our body.
Thank you, Lord.
Then I said, Lord, how long?
And he answered, until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant.
Okay, I’m going to stop there.
But man, that is a powerful scripture.
In Isaiah 6, verse 3, Isaiah said, he saw smoke fill the house of the Lord.
The doorposts were shaken at the sound of the Lord’s voice.
Can you imagine?
Have you ever been in a building and it shook?
I’ve never experienced that in my life, but it happened in the book of Acts.
I believe that it’s going to happen in the last days.
I have been in meetings, you know, 20, 30 years ago, where I’m telling you what, everybody was laid out.
It was amazing.
Totally amazing.
People could not move.
It was just absolutely mind-boggling.
People were laid out everywhere.
And the glory of God was so thick and heavy.
And that’s, that’s the Hebrew word, um, glory.
It means heavy weighted, a heavy weight.
And that’s why the presence of God sometimes feel heavy, not heavy in the sense that is putting you into bondage, but you get free in the presence of the Lord.
Praise be to God.
Woo-hee.
All right, let’s go to Isaiah 40.
Isaiah 40.
We’re going to read verses 1 through 5.
Isaiah 40.
Isaiah 40, verses 1 through 5.
Comfort.
Yes, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak comfort to Jerusalem and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, for she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all of her sins.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord.
Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill brought low.
The crooked places shall be made straight, and the rough places smooth.
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken this.
Now, isn’t it interesting that in this chapter, we see Isaiah prophesying about John the Baptist, which that’s exactly what he did.
He cried out.
He cried out in the wilderness.
Absolutely amazing.
The Lord is too much.
Praise be to God.
The glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it.
I believe that this speaks of the revival in the latter days before Jesus comes.
Let’s go to John chapter 1.
The Gospel of John chapter 1.
And we’re going to look at verse 12.
But as many as received him, capital H, to them he gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but the will of God.
And the word became flesh.
Look at that.
That word, word is capital, capital W.
Capital W-O-R-D.
Became flesh and dwelt, tabernacled, and lived among us.
And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John bore witness of him and cried out, saying, This was he of whom I said, He who comes after me is preferred before me, for he was before him.
And of his fullness.
Woo!
You don’t get just the part.
You get everything that Jesus did.
He accomplished.
You get all of him, not just his hand or his little pinky toe, but you get all of him.
When he comes into your heart, he completely transforms you forever and ever.
Isn’t that something that God gives you grace to get more grace?
You know what, folks?
You and I cannot survive without the grace of God.
Now, I’m not talking about cheap grace here.
I’m talking about someone that is completely dedicated, and they’ve sold their life out to the Lord Jesus Christ, and they’re living holy for the Lord.
They’ve given their life, the entirety of their life, and everything that they think about, everything that they do, they give themselves over to his Lordship, and he fills you with his fullness.
Everything that he is, everything that he does, everything that God made him to be, you get the full gift.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Man, I’m telling you, that gets me excited, folks.
If you don’t get excited about that, something’s wrong with you.
No one has seen God at any time.
The only begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
All right, so I’m going to stop there.
That is awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome.
Praise be to God.
The word of God became living flesh, and we beheld the glory of the only begotten Son of God.
The glory of God will manifest as we get into the word.
What a revelation.
The Lord was really speaking that to me when I was preparing these scriptures this week.
He said, as you get into my word, because he says the word became flesh and tabernacled or dwelt among us.
So as you get into the word, the glory of the Lord is going to be released in you in great measure.
I’m not just talking about it a little bit, but I’m talking about the full kahuna.
The whole can of sardines.
God is so good.
God is so good.
All right, let’s go to Romans chapter 8.
Romans chapter 8.
And we’re going to start at verse 15.
Romans chapter 8, verse 15.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear.
But you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry, Abba or Daddy, Father.
Amazing.
You know, all the Jewish people called their dad Abba.
It’s amazing when you think about it.
